How can I get involved?

Young children on their bikes smiling and waving at the camera, in a crowd of 100+ children and parents on bikes in a Kidical Mass cycling event.

The Exeter Cycling Campaign is made up of Exeter citizens like you. We’re not transport experts, we’re just citizens wanting it to be safer to walk, wheel, scoot and cycle.

Why not drop us a line if you’d like to chat about what you can contribute to the Campaign: info@exetercyclingcampaign.org.uk

We have a number of streams to our Campaign. We’d love to have you join one of these small teams:

Leadership Engagement: Where we engage positively without local leaders: Councillors, council Officers and other city leaders.

Planning: We review planning applications to ensure new developments are bike and pedestrian-friendly.

Social Media and comms:Using social media and other communication channels to raise awareness of low-carbon active travel as a solution to many of our society’s challenges

Events Team: Having a presence at events around the city so we can hear people

Infrastructure: Proposing where and how safer active travel routes can be developed in the city

Scanning the environment: Keeping a close eye on what our councils are discussing

Police Engagement: Engaging with the police to improve the video submission system (Operation Snap) and support the Vision Zero South West initiative, which aims to eliminate road deaths and injuries.

Admin & Finance: Keeping the whole Campaign on a sound footing
