The latest plans for the safe cycling route on Dryden Road go to the Devon Council Council Exeter Highways Committee on Monday 12 October.
The new plan is just like the old plan, which was unanimously rejected by Councillors in July.
Devon County Council modelling has found that the traffic jams on Barrack Road will double in length.
And yet Councillors seem to want to implement this to solve a local traffic concern caused by parked cars on Bovemoors Lane that could be solved for a fraction of the cost.
£500, 000 to double the length of traffic jams and make a cycle route unsafe,
What a waste of public money.
We suspect the voting could be different this time.
If the plan is approved, then Devon County Council will go live with a consulation on the Traffic Regulation Order very soon.
At that stage the brilliant legal advice that we have been able to secure thanks to your generous Crowdfunder contributions will help us respond with objections.
Once we know more we shall keep you updated and provide some hints on doing your own objections
