KEEP DRYDEN ROAD SAFE

The stop-start consultation on Dryden Road has confirmed that Devon County Council are seriously considering options that will make if unsafe for people on bikes.

Despite Councillors asking for all options to be safe, the consultation includes secret unsafe options which have never been discussed or debated in public.

The County Council acknowledge that these options are unsafe and unsuitable.

Can you imagine the County Council consulting on options for a school bus service or school toilet block that they said were unsafe and unsuitable?

Such options would have been put in the bin. Which is where these options for Dryden Road belong.

If these options proceed Devon County Council admit that they will spend up to £1M to …….

put children cycling to school at known risk of death and injury

increase congestion
lose cheap and easy travel for all to the hospital, schools & shops
