A special ring of the Golden Bike Bell as Councillors give Newtown scheme the green light!
Special golden bike bell rings to all of the Councillors on the Exeter Highways Committee , who unanimously approved the Newtown Live and Move scheme at their meeting on 15 July.
The scheme will make more space for people on bikes, foot and wheels in Newtown.
It will make the route across The Triangle car park segregated and safer, filter Russell Street to prioritise people and create a pocket park, and create a new contraflow bike lane on the one-way Clifton Hill.
