That’s the question we helped to answer when Campaign volunteers recently met with Exeter City Council (ECC) and Councillor Josie Parkhouse (Portfolio Holder for Leisure Services & Physical Activity).
ECC are planning the next stage of the ‘Live Better, Move More’ programme, which shares many of the same goals as the Campaign. They invited us to offer proposals and ideas.
We asked ECC to consider how they can progress more liveable neighbourhoods, implement our Quick Wins, help deliver bike hangars and press for more protected cycle paths.
It’s a testament to the hard work of Campaign volunteers over the years that we had concrete, practical proposals to put to the council and that we’ve won the trust to be invited to the table.
